Rita started touring and writing with her first band at the age of 15, which soon led to a full time career as a songwriter and session singer – working in all genres from drum ‘n bass to pop, dance and rock. Rita was the first signing to Hed Kandi with her version of ‘Warm Weather’ and ‘You Know How To Love Me’ – the success of these led onto collaborations with Chris Bangs (Galliano & Acid Jazz) resulting in the huge WMC Miami track ‘Runaway Love’.

Rita has  worked and written with a diverse range of artists including Steps (for whom she wrote the UK Number 1 hit ‘Stomp’), Sweden’s leading producer StoneBridge (RobinS), J.Majik & Wickaman, Westlife, Toploader, Paul Weller, Jools Holland, Michael McDonald, Cher Lloyd, The Brand New Heavies, Rebecca Ferguson, Russell Watson, Avalon Superstar, Adam F, Jon Pearn (Bodyrox) and Lemon Jelly. Being a prolific songwriter and topliner, covering a broad range of genres with many cuts and releases for various artists, she is also regularly approached to write for TV, film, ads and other projects, keeping her very busy in her London studio.

Rita stands as one of the UK’s most in demand featured vocal artists and songwriters and has lent her voice and songwriting skills to some of the biggest tracks in the worlds of dance and pop. Her distinctive voice is most widely known for featuring on huge chart anthems ‘Crazy World’ and
‘In This Silence’. She has plenty of recent releases coming up, including her new version of ‘Warm Weather 2012′ with Chris Bangs, (Ex) da Bass ft. Rita Campbell -‘No More Lonely Nights’ and her latest track ‘Let It Go’ with Marc JB (Bimbo Jones).
